How do I book my wedding?
Call or complete the form in the “contact us” section
to check availability. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the
total package price will be required to hold your date. Unfortunately
we cannot hold a date and time for you without a deposit. For
you convenience we do accept payments via paypal. If you will
be mailing a check, we will hold the date for 3 business days,
as long as we have a signed contract.
What area do you serve?
We serve the beautiful south Florida area which includes: Miami-Dade,
Broward and Palm Beach counties. We are located in Miami and will
charge a travel fee for locations north of Ft. Lauderdale.
How far in advance should I reserve?
We recommend reserving as soon as you have a date. Although we
do accept last minute requests, they are subject to availability
and all packages and services may not be available.
What if it rains?
This is our most frequently asked question. Here in Florida we
are blessed to have year round gorgeous weather. However there
is always the possibility that it can rain on the day of your
event. With that said, we cannot stress enough the importance
of a back up plan in the event of bad weather. Particularly during
the months of June through October which is know as our “rainy”
season. Here are some different options:
- If you are having a reception, the ceremony can be moved
there. If it will be in a restaurant, please make sure to check
ahead of time with the staff to see if it would be alright to
move the ceremony there.
- If you are coming in from out of town to elope with little
or no guests, then we can move the ceremony to your hotel room.
- If you are having your ceremony in one of the locations which
offer shelter for rent, you are highly encouraged to reserve
a shelter as a backup location. Here are some of the locations
with shelters for rent:
- South Point Park, Miami Beach
- Crandon Park, Key Biscayne
- Matheson Hammock, Coral Gables
You may also want to consider wedding insurance: http://www.wedsafe.com/index.html.
Please note that backup location must be within 20 minutes of
your ceremony site. If you need help with a backup plan, please
contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
What is the best time of day for a beach wedding?
Late afternoon and sunset offer the fewest people on the beach
and the most comfortable temperature (especially in the summer
months). Morning weddings are best during the months of November
to April. These are just some recommendations; we will book weddings
at anytime.
Is there a permit required for a beach wedding?
Most of the beaches in Florida are public and will not require
a permit. Some will have certain restrictions. If you will be
staying at a hotel on the beach and want to have your ceremony
behind the hotel, you will have to get permission from the hotel
to do so. Some locations do have a site fee, such as Crandon Park
and Bill Baggs state park. We can assist you with the permitting
process, however it is the couples responsibility to obtain and
pay for any permit or site fees.
Are these the only packages you offer and can we change anything?
We can customize a package for you based on your needs. Contact
us for any adjustments to our current packages.
Who takes the pictures?
For the Elopement package, the pictures are taken by the officiant.
For all the other packages, we use various professional photographers,
all highly qualified and pre-screened by us. All the photos in
our photo gallery were taken by our photographers.
Can we write our own vows?
Yes, you may also add anything meaningful or have a friend or
family member say something during the ceremony. It’s your
ceremony and it should be the way you want it.
What is the Sand Ceremony?
This lovely ceremony is performed after the ring ceremony. The
couple reaches down and takes a handful of sand from beneath them,
and while a beautiful verse is read, they pour the sand into a
heart shaped glass. It can also be done with two bottles pre-filled
with beach sand or colored sand (you pick the colors). This replaces
the traditional "Unity Candle" ceremony and is more
appropriate for outdoor beach weddings. This ceremony comes with
a beautiful keepsake heart shaped glass.
What kind of music is played?
Whichever kind you would like played. We can play traditional
wedding music or any contemporary choice. If it is a rare or hard
to find piece, we will request that you provide the CD.
Are the flowers on the arches fresh or silk?
All of our flowers are fresh, including the ones on the arch.
What is the beach wedding coordination fee?
This fee is already included in our set packages. It will be
added to any custom package and the fee will depend on the complexity
of the event.
Do you provide receptions?
We currently do not provide receptions or catering. We can make
some recommendations if needed.
