Trace and Jennifer’s Hollywood Beach Elopement

May 17th, 2012

Congratulations to Trace and Jennifer, who were joined together in matrimony last month on the pristine beaches of Hollywood beach.  Trace and Jennifer enjoyed a fun ride on our new Hummer of Love!  After the ceremony they were transported to a romantic dinner in Miami Beach.  Jennifer carried a love bouquet of tulips and Gerber daisies (her favorite flowers, a surprise from Trace!)  We wish you both many years of happiness!

Real Wedding: Martin and Julia’s Miami Beach Wedding

January 26th, 2010

Martin and Julia came all the way from Norway to wed on the beautiful beach behind the Palms Hotel in Miami Beach. They had a lovely tropical colored arch as a backdrop.  They ended the evening with a release of a miniature hot air balloon.  Congratulations!

Real Wedding: Kristin & Micah’s South Beach Wedding

July 22nd, 2009

On July 18th, 2009 we had the pleasure of meeting Kristin & Micah and performing their early morning beach wedding ceremony. They came from Louisiana with some family to get married on the beautiful shore next to South Point Park. She carried a lovely bouquet of hot pink and white roses. After the ceremony they shared a champagne toast and then were off to their Caribbean cruise. Congratulations Kristin and Micah!

Real Wedding: The Wedding of Justin and Lina

June 18th, 2009

What happens if it rains? We hear this question so often and fortunately we have been blessed that rarely have we had to move a wedding indoors. On May 30th, it was one of those days. The weather had been really unstable for a good two weeks leading up to Justin and Lina’s beach wedding, so the bride and groom make the correct decision (boy did it rain on their day) to go ahead with their backup plan. The result was a beautiful wedding under a white tent with 70 guests in attendance. It was held at the Wind Condo in downtown Miami. The bride was stunning and the guests were able to dodge the rain. The sky did clear up after the ceremony and the couple was able to take some great photos with the Miami skyline as a backdrop. A lively reception followed. Congratulations to Lina and Justin, may you enjoy many years of happiness, rain or shine….

Beach Favors

June 18th, 2009

Beach themed favors are always a nice touch to your beach wedding. They are a great way of dressing up the tables at a small cost (who isn’t looking for that these days!) There is a large selection, many just under $2.00 each at www.foreverinlovefavors.com. We’ve teamed up with Kate Aspen to offer these beautiful favors. I love the suitcase favors, they are perfect for a destination wedding! They also have some great gifts for your attendants.

Real Wedding: Garland and Ashley’s Pre-Cruise Wedding

May 11th, 2009

I first spoke to Ashley back in November 2008 when she stared planning her cruise and wedding here in South Florida. After all those months of planning, she got the most beautiful day and a perfect beach wedding! Ashley looked beautiful as her groom, Garland looked on. Her mom was there to witness the event and capture it on video! Tears rolled as the couple exchanged vows. They were married at the very peaceful and beautiful Crandon Park Beach, surrounded by palm trees and ocean breezes. Then it was off the dinner at the very romantic Rusty Pelican and their cruise the next day. Congratulations Ashley and Garland!

Welcome to my blog!

May 2nd, 2009

Ah, weddings, how I love them. I started this business as a wedding officiant and I quickly discovered how much I was addicted to weddings. I know, some people think of wedding and “stress” comes to mind, but not me, I think love (yes as corny as that sounds) I think new life, new beginnings, joy happiness, peace. Who wouldn’t love a business that made you feel all those things? I quickly combined it with my second love, the beach and a match made in tropical heaven was born. Now hundreds weddings later, my love for this business is still strong and I still treat each wedding as if it were my own.

This blog will include updates and recent weddings, as well as any touching story I can share. So enjoy and check back for future posts.
